The game against the Cowboys, was one of the best games I’ve seen from the Seahawks. They made me feel proud to be apart of the 12th Man. First I’d like to start with the offense, it looked really good in the way that they finally started to put drives together. Russell Wilson had some very good plays using his mobility to get a few first downs and his college accuracy was in show. Marshawn Lynch was on fire, I just love watching him run the ball. Lynch can move the pile with 5-6 linemen in them and get those crucial extra yards. Golden Tate showed up big with some nice catches, and of course that awesome block that he had, which in my opinion was a fair block and not to the head or neck area.
The defense once again showed up on Sunday. Browner had a pick that I thought he turned into a nice return with help of some good blocking. We got see a glimpse of what Bruce Irvin can bring to the table, his sack was very nice and I think he should of got the full sack rather than a 0.5 sack. Kj Wright’s defended pass against Jason Witten, was one of the best defended passes by a linebacker that I have ever seen. I think that even Witten was surprised that he didn’t even get a chance to catch it.
Last, special teams; they looked awesome, a blocked punt and a fumble on the opening kickoff. What a way to start the game off in the first quarter. I think the Seahawks have done a great job with keeping players on the roster than can make impact plays on the special teams part of the game.
